In my youth, I used to marvel
at those men and women who could face adversity with
calm reserve. Do you know the type? They are men and
women who seemed to have an otherworldly sense of
“Just wait, be calm, because everything will be
alright.”
God desires this quality in all
of His children, because, truly, “everything will be
alright.”
Although we face troubles, through our
perseverance, a blessing awaits our grasp.
The blessing is called Patience.
Through our troubles, God remains
with us.
In the end, that Holy characteristic, called
Patience, will take a prevalent role in our lives.
James 1: 2-3
(NKJV) My brethren, count it all joy when you fall
into various trials, knowing that the testing of
your faith produces patience.
(NIV) Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever
you face trials of many kinds, because you know that
the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
